Fall Necessities

Your Starbucks Order: The classic pumpkin spice latte is the way to go. In the words of Long Island youtuber, @brookemiccio, Starbucks' pumpkin sauce is “unmatched”. If you’re looking for fall in a cup, there are other options for your morning caffeine fix. The new pumpkin cold brew is good, the sweetness is an overkill. If you’re looking for a bolder coffee with a fall taste; grande cold brew, 2 pumps of pumpkin, and you’re preferred milk.

Spice up your Dessert Life: Fall is the perfect time to start up your oven. Though all you may have is your old townhouse oven, the cool weather is kicking into gear so start it up. Pro tip: box banana bread is awesome! Just add 2 ripe bananas and some chopped walnuts to take it to the next level. (Also look for Milkcraft’s seasonal flavors—last year’s Apple Pie flavor was to die for)

Darty Drinking: For those of us “21 years or older”, who wouldn’t love getting tipsy while tasting the flavors of Fall? Some of our favorite alcoholic beverages to drink in the Fall include:

Angry Orchard Crisp Hard Seltzer (5% alcohol by volume): Sweet and crisp, but still light enough to take to your next Fall darty.

Wolffer Estate No. 139 Dry Rosé Cider (6.9% alcohol by volume): Let’s just say the taste along with the packaging on this bad boy is to die for. If you have ever gotten the chance to experience Wolffer Estate, you know that all of their wines are top notch. This dry wine will definitely leave you feeling classy.

Shipyard Pumpkinhead (4.5% alcohol by volume): Those of you who are into dad beers will definitely enjoy this one. Punkinhead is a rich beer completed with a subtle spice taste, perfect for the fall season.

Montauk Pumpkin Ale (5.7% alcohol by volume): Montauk Brewing Company is by far one of our favorite spots to stop for a cold one. Although they only distribute their beers in a handful of locations on Long Island, we definitely recommend their pumpkin ale. With the taste being not too sweet and not too dry, Montauk Brewing Co. perfects this ale with the perfect amount of spices for your Fall cravings. P

.S for you Long Islanders, grab your pumpkin ale over Columbus Day weekend from Montauk Brewery (one of the bests)
