The Banana Bread Trend

GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN BANANA BREAD

So many people have hopped on the trend of using this time to try out new recipes and become master chefs in their own home kitchens. I’ve seen lots of different banana bread recipes floating around on my social media pages and I figured I would try some of them out! Two YouTubers that I am subscribed to, Emma MacDonald and Gretchen Geraghty (from Boston, MA), have both started posting on their social media accounts about a Gluten-Free and Vegan banana bread recipe that they swear by. Following in their footsteps, I baked the bread myself and I fell in love with the results.

Here it is!

Ingredients:

  • 3 very ripe Bananas

  • ¾ cup Maple Syrup

  • ½ cup melted Coconut Oil

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 1 cup GF Flour

  • 1 cup Oats

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon Salt

  • Chocolate Chips (your preference on amount … I like a lot!! )


Instructions :

  • Preheat oven to 350℉ 

  • Mash the bananas and mix in with the wet ingredients

  • BLEND the dry ingredients so the oats blend into oat flour & everything mixes

  • Mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients separately and then mix together

  • Add your chocolate chips

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes
